The Brief & Obstacles
The Problem:
This project began as the ultimate homeowner nightmare. The previous contractors had dug out the entire garden and simply abandoned the site, leaving it as a dangerous, unusable dirt pit for over a month. The excavation had created a severe drop right outside the back door, meaning Cathy couldn't even safely step out of her own house. She was left stressed, out of pocket, and completely without a garden.
The Precision Build
The Solution:
We stepped in to stabilise the site and engineer a permanent solution. Over the course of 15 days, we transformed the disaster zone into a premium outdoor living space. We installed a flawless 900x600mm grey porcelain patio, utilising a contrasting charcoal brush-in grout for a striking, modern finish. To manage the levels down the alleyway, we constructed a custom sleeper retaining wall that doubles as integrated bench seating. Finally, we laid fresh, leveled turf and built a solid, load-bearing base for a new shed at the rear, giving Cathy her home back.
