01A quick call
Ten or fifteen minutes on the phone. What you have in mind, where you are, and roughly when. If we’re the right fit, we book your consultation.
02The consultation
Chris comes to your home, usually for about an hour. We walk the space, listen to how you want to use it, measure up, take photos and talk through ideas. It helps if everyone who’ll decide can be there.
03The design call
Once we’ve worked it through, we go through the options with you and shape the design and the price together. Your written proposal then confirms what you agreed, at a fixed price.

Some gardens need more design before a fixed price is possible: several areas, big level changes, or a lot of choices to settle.
For those, we may suggest a paid design package, with detailed drawings and developed concept visuals. It is offered case by case, we’ll tell you at the consultation if we think it would help, and if you go ahead with the build its cost is credited in full.

Before you book.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. There’s no charge for the consultation and no obligation afterwards.
Will you give me a price on the day?
No. A price guessed on the doorstep is usually wrong, because it can’t account for your ground, access and drainage. We work it out properly and go through it with you on the design call, where you can see what each option changes.
Do I need to know what I want?
Not at all. Plenty of people start with a feeling that the garden isn’t working. Helping you work out what you want is what the consultation is for.
Who comes to the consultation?
Chris does. He’s the person who designs and prices your job, and he manages the build.
What should I have ready?
Nothing formal. A rough idea of your budget helps us suggest the right options, and any photos or ideas you’ve saved are useful too. It helps if everyone who will make the decision can be there.
Do you cover my area?
We work within about 20 miles of Dunstable: Luton, Leighton Buzzard, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes and the towns and villages in between. If you’re not sure, call us and ask.
