// PROJECT DETAILS
// THE BRIEF
Half dug and abandoned.
This project started as the kind of situation no homeowner wants. The previous contractors had dug out the whole garden and walked off site, leaving it as an unsafe, unusable dirt pit for over a month. The excavation had left a severe drop right outside the back door, so Cathy couldn't safely step out of her own house. She was stressed, out of pocket and without a garden.

What we changed.
We stepped in to make the site safe and build a permanent solution. Over 14 days we turned the site into a usable outdoor living space. We laid a 900x600mm grey porcelain patio, using a contrasting charcoal brush-in grout for a clean, modern finish. To manage the levels down the alleyway, we built a sleeper retaining wall that doubles as integrated bench seating. Finally, we laid fresh, levelled turf and built a solid, load-bearing base for a new shed at the rear, giving Cathy her garden back.

// WHAT CLIENTS SAY
MT Developments are amazing. They redesigned our whole back garden and it's made a huge difference. Chris listened to what we wanted and showed us 3D drawings so we could see how it would look before the work started. The new layout makes the garden feel much bigger and easier to maintain. The team worked hard, kept the place tidy and were always very polite. We now spend so much more time outside, just in time for the next heatwave. 100% recommend.
